Hi!
My name is Mareike. I’m a film and game director based in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Since 2022 I am studying „Transmedia/Game Director“ at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
Before joining the Filmakademie, I completed my bachelor’s degree in the pathway „Film and Video“ at Merz Akademie Stuttgart. My passion is telling interesting and entertaining stories through creative filmmaking. In recent years, I have also fallen in love with interactive films and branching storylines. My goal is to create more Full Motion Video games with an innovative way of fusing film and gameplay into a new experience of the classic medium.
My latest project is the interactive feature film „Heart of the Forest“ developed by Trapped Predator and published by Wales Interactive. I had the great opportunity to direct the film part of this project. Check it out on steam.
